This sweet girl came to my studio and got to try out some brand new gorgeous outfits! <3 I was so excited to see these on a baby. And Miss Lily did NOT disappoint!
First we had this gorgeous gold lace outfit, followed by my very favorite blue and white lace with flowers!
Sweet Lily had some bumps and bruises from her journey “earthside.” She had a hematoma on her head, and I love that her mom wanted to keep it as part of the memory of her first weeks. As a newborn photographer, there are many things we can “fix” or change to make baby look like a picture perfect doll. When it comes to things like birth marks, hip casts, hematomas, and other medical or cosmetic differences, I LOVE when parents are happy to embrace their baby as they are – wonderful in every way!
This sweet girl is just so snuggly! Her mom and dad are so lucky to have precious Lily to cozy up with every night. Babies are such amazing blessings, and I just love being able to capture their angelic new-ness as art!
Let’s stop for a second and just admire that adorable little pout! Tiny newborn details are just as important to me as capturing the traditional portrait. They are great to pair with full body images in a baby book!
And that’s a wrap for Miss Lily’s newborn session!
